Dear MLPOS members. It's time again to attend your Annual General Meeting on September 17th at 2pm at the Anglican Church Hall on Canal Road. We hope you can find time to meet with us and hear our reports and plans for the coming year. Hey, it's only 2 hours and you'll have a chance to meet old friends and maybe make some new ones. We also appreciate your ideas and input on things like Short Term Vacation Rentals, water/sewer, dock security and other issues that affect us on this amazing Island. I would like to thank your board members for all their hard work and valuable time this year: Jim McCrum - Vice President, Mike Wiley - Director of Recreation (Tennis), Wally Foster - Marina General Manager, Peter Testemale - Marina Operations Manager, Jeremy Harwood - Marina Maintenance Manager, Glenn Henderson - Marina Projects Manager, Jean Deschenes - Treasurer, Kathy Gilbert - Secretary and last, but not least, Dave Reed - Director at Large. I would also like to thank our Office Manager, Joanna Rogers, for supporting this team so well. The Board of Directors' positions that are up for election this year are; Vice President (1 year interim term), Marina Maintenance Manager, Marina Projects Manager, Marina Operations Manager (1 year interim term), Secretary, Treasurer and Director at Large.
